Love this cup!

I kinda have a strange thing for cups as well as nautical themes. This baby holds a lot of coffee too. It is definitely my go-to Sunday morning coffee cup. The inscription inside (These stormy seas came between my love and I) is so romantic! And I love the gold trimming on the rim. It's not clunky, but it has a nice substantial weight to it.

Cute in comcept

I thought for sure when I saw this teacup on line that I would be taking it home with me, but when I saw it in the store, I wasn't as impressed. I love the nautical theme and the poetic inscription on the inside--however, I thought it was a little awkwardly large, and the printing looked a little fuzzy on the ones I looked at in the store. if you're into huge teacups, go for it. I prefer my teacups to be on the dainty side, so I passed.

Nautical and grammatically challenged

I love oversized teacups and this pattern is stunning! It goes well with other blue/white china I have. But the inscription on the inside -- oooh someone oughta do a grammar check -- it says "... stormy seas came between my love and I." No no no, it should be "my love and me"! You would never say "between I and my love." But of course I'm keeping it anyway. Ha!! Also, the teacup cleverly goes with the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea dinnerware.
