Pros: corseted top, great fit
"Wasn't sure how this would fit on me. I am about 5-2 and the widest part of my body is my hip/butt area. Gave it a shot and fell in love. It is SO flattering and absolutely adorable. It's chilly now so I wear it with tights and a cardigan but in the summer I will wear it with flip flops. Great piece."

"Love this! I'm 5'9 and 135lbs and ordered a 6. I wasn't sure i'd be able to fill out the top but this Fits perfectly. The bottom is very roomy which I thought might add too much volume to the thigh area but i was pleasantly surprised. love love love this"

Pros: pockets!
Cons: seam rides up my bum when i bend over
"Sweet & simple puppy love.
I'm short, curvy, all torso and for some reason thought that the romper fit (that I adore on mannequins) would look ridiculous on me. I'd trade this jumper for the realization that I have horrible judgment any day.
I usually don't like showing too much leg (which a short girl should) but the higher waist on this cutie made it pass. Tried it on at the store and I actually ended up going for a size larger, my normal size fit like a glove but I liked the fuller look on the bottom with the size-up. The result is that it does look more skirt-like but I feel as though I could wear it with a little more flexibility occasion-wise than with the leaner look where the shorts were more apparent on my normal size. To each her own though! The top on the size larger was a tad looser but still fit fine and had no real visual difference for me. I was going between a size 0 & 2 so I don't know if they use significantly less material on the bottom for 0's than the other sizes or something.
If you plan on bending over in this first plan on wearing shorts or leggings underneath unless you want a peep show; also expect an instant wedgie. Bending's overrated anyhow.

Pros: everything!!
Cons: the tie slides up sometimes no biggy!
"When I saw this jumper in the store I knew I had to try it on. Once I tried it on I had to have it. I never thought I could have so much love for an inanimate object, you know what I mean? I'm young (early teen), thin, and tall (5'7''), and the size 0 fit perfect. The shorts/bottom does look like a skirt/dress but it looks cool, it gives it a nice visual. For the people that say it looks good on shorter people, I think it looks great on taller people and makes your legs look so long! The top part is really cute, the print and the style is great. The tie and the waist really accentuates your waist. You can wear this romper with heels, flats, any type of shoe really. Beret hats look great with this piece and brings out the "French" look. It's a gorgeous piece, easy to pair with anything, and I definitely recommend it! Any color can go with the black and creme color scheme, and this jumper would look great with boots/booties, tights, and a cardigan for fall as well! Love this!"

Pros: excellent construction and fit.
Cons: i wish the fabric had a bit more sheen to it.
"let's face it, most of the time rompers are exceedingly unflattering. this one, however, somehow finds a happy medium between the land of romper and dress. whenever i wear it i constantly get compliments on how cute my "dress" is.
i'm actually not crazy about the fact that its made of such cottony fabric; i'm worried that after a few washes it could start to fade a bit, but it's super cute for the time being.
and i think tall girls can wear it too. i'm 5'11" as well and i don't feel overexposed when i wear it.
i'm so excited to wear it with boots, tights and a chunky sweater once it starts getting cold outside."

Pros: scottie dogs!
Cons: bust runs slightly small (for me at least)
"I love this romper, and I have to disagree with people who are saying that it is only for short people. I'm 5'11'', about 160lbs, and the size ten fits perfectly (the 8, which I usually wear, is a bit small in the bust). The length isn't too short, which I've found to be a problem with most other rompers, and it doesn't make me look like a stork. Whatever size your bust is will probably dictate what size you would have to get this in, since the bodice is fairly structured which makes zipping up a breeze. It doesn't sag or fall down, either! Overall, it's a totally good buy."

Pros: adorable for a day time dress or night time., perfect with any colorful accessory or makeup
"I love LOVE, I am so glad I finally got it! I was actually really unsure about the "dress" actually being a one piece with shorts and a strapless top. I am a petite person but curvy ( I am 5'1"I usually wear a size 2) I defiantly can't stress enough to try it on! I tried the 2 and it was very baggy, the size 0 is still a bit baggy but the tie around the dress really helps to keep it stable. I ended up getting the size 0 and even though a bit baggy, I still love the look, mostly because the shorts look like a full short skirt (but it is a bit complicated when needed to go to the restroom!) The attached strapless top with the adorable scottie print a bit baggy makes it look like a tucked in shirt with a black bow tie around the waist. I wear it simply with black booties, heals, or flats, even with sandals and a bright pink or red purse to pop."

"I wish I loved the fit of this romper as much as the other reviewers! I too fell in love with the adorable print and styling of this but I was disappointed after trying it on. While the top fit well I found the shorts to be very roomy and unflattering. The crotch on these fell very low, even on my longer torso. This combined with the extra volume in the pant legs made my hips and thighs appear much bigger than they are. It's too bad because I think if this were a skirt instead of shorts it would have been much more flattering."

Pros: roomy shorts, super adorable print, flattering on curvy figures, easy to wear can be dressed up or down, transitional into fall/winter
Cons: sizing is a bit weird, print might be a little "out there" for some
"I'd been eyeing this piece for a while and finally got into the store to try it on. I was actually really surprised that the 4 and 6 I'd put on hold were actually too big! I'm normally a dress size 4 (5'5" about 130 lbs, 36B) and the waist and bust were ever so slightly big on the 4. I ended up getting a 2 which is tight, but not so tight that I can't breath. It was much more flattering in the 2, as it cinched my waist, and made my hips look smaller. I paired this with red HUE tights and some black pumps and got many compliments on it. It's simply adorable and if you're into something just a little bit off beat, then this is the right piece for you. I'm relatively curvy, and I think it looks great on me, so don't be afraid of trying this on, even if you're curvy and don't like shorts like I do. I normally run away from shorts, but I just thought this was so cute, and the shorts are cut very roomy, so it's more like a skirt anyway. I guess to make a long story short, if you're thinking about getting this and can get to a store to try it on, do so. I was going to order a 4 and I'm glad I took the time to go to a store, because it saved me having to make an exchange."

Pros: adorable, flattering, versatile
"I'm a size 2/4 on top (34b) and a size 6 on bottom and bought this in a size 4. It fits perfectly and definitely flatters! I'm 5'5'' with a long torso and if i was any longer it probably wouldn't have worked.
Looks great with other waist belts

Pros: unique style flattering
"Unlike most Maeve designs, which I think tend to run a little on the bigger side, or at least very roomy and true to size, you should probably stick to your real size or even size up with this, because the top and the boning in the top are tight, even though the shorts and the waist are a little baggy on me. The bow on the front and the great construction are super flattering, and the design is unique and very well-made.
It's easy to style, but it's also a great piece to throw on and quickly look cute and put together.
It helps to be short to wear this, because I think it might look slightly comical otherwise."

"Adorable design! I love the bow shape on the bodice, and of course, all the little scottie dogs.
I am 5'2", 100lbs, pretty straight frame, and the size 0 fit nicely. The top has a bit of stretch, and the shorts are cut fairly generously, so I imagine this would fit curvier gals nicely as well. The shorts fall about 6 inches above my knee, so it's a good length, even on short people!
I found the boning to be a little uncomfortable, but that's just a personal preference - I'm not that used to wearing something so structured.
So cute for summer by itself, and into fall with tights and boots and a long cardigan."

Pros: cute print, modern cut with the pleated shorts
Cons: can skew a little young!
"This is the most adorable piece! It's perfect for wearing now through the remaining dog days of summer and can easily be layered with a boyfriend blazer and tights for the cooler months. It fit true to size and was fine in the length - unless you have a really long torso, it should fit in your normal size."

Pros: can be matched easily with other items., very comfortable.
"This romper is adorable and chic. I like the fact that it is strapless. Also, the fabric is sturdy and of high quality and the pattern of the top is very nice. This romper can be worn alone or with a blazer. It can also be worn with a skirt over the pants which adds a different look. Very versatile."
