"i tried this on today in a small. the chest area was too tight, so i ordered a medium. i hope it works out. i love the detailing - gold buttons, ever so subtle plaid print against the black. and yes, it is a bit 80's but that's the style right now...leggings, stirrup pants, shoulder pads, bomber jackets. i was pleasantly surprised that anthropologie carried such a trendy jacket like this one."

"I tried this on in the store today. I liked the gold detail... for me it added a little style to the jacket. As someone else mentioned, it is at little long. I have a short torso and didn't like how it bunched up, so I left it at the store. I think it's better suited for someone taller."

A cute, not-so-basic-black jacket...

Pros: nice print and details
Cons: a little long {but maybe that's my body type}
"I love the subtle plaid print - it makes this jacket black, but not boring all-black. The gold details are nice but yes - a tad 80's. You can't tell in the photos but there are also studs on the shoulders as well so overall, quite a bit of gold going on.
Fits nicely - I'm 5'5, 120 lbs, and usually between a size 2 and 4. I ordered the small and it is great. It is a bit longer than I expected; I thought it would hit at the hip like most bomber-style jackets but it's about an inch or two longer. I have a shorter torso and longer lower half so maybe you won't have this issue....
I also like that even though it is 3/4 sleeves, the fabric feels sturdy and relatively warm."

Pros: fit styling and quality
Cons: was a little too much blouse in the chest area
"Granddaughter found this and requested it for a Hanukkah gift. It arrived in record time, fit her like a dream and she says that it exceeded her expectations. What more could you ask? Her sister also requested a coat that she and her mother found on your website. It has been ordered and we are anxiously awaiting it's arrival."

Pros: nice warmth not too heavy good draping
"This jacket is a lovely look for F/W 09. While it is slightly 80s, as the reviewer above points out, I've worn it with basically everything, and it always looks great. If you leave it unbuttoned, the collar has a great draping.
So pleased I purchased!"

"This is a cute jacket, but when the package arrived I was a little surprised at how '80s it looked, especially with the gold accents and the little black and gold epaulets. It's styled in a cute way in the catalog picture, but I've had more trouble figuring out what to wear with it to make it less '80s-looking. Other than that, it fits true to size with a slim fit. The sleeves are a nice length, just below the elbows. There is a subtle plaid with nice colors, with blue and black together that works well."
