"My favorite denim is Citizens of Humanity and AG Jeans. I have tried on countless pairs of AG jeans and COH until I find the right fit and style. I am 5'8" and 140lbs. I am typically a size 27. However, AG sizes are VERY inconsistent. I have a pair of AG Tomboy and had to size down to 25. I bought a pair of the AG Ballad in a size 26, but then returned them because I didn't like the fit. In the AG Stevie, I am either a 27 or 28 depending on the wash. I don't know why I keep trying to buy AG Jeans because I return most them! But when I saw the mid-rise Stevie, I thought for sure they would be perfect. I prefer mid-rise jeans. I ordered my usual size 27. However, when I got them in the mail, I was immediately disappointed. I thought they would be a similiar feel to the other dark wash Stevie, but they are thinner and softer. I like my denim a little stiffer. When I tried them on, it was awful. I could not even pull them over my hips and thighs. It was terrible. No way could I even come close to buttoning them. I will be returning this immediately. If you do order these jeans, order at least 1-2 sizes up."

Review 2 for AG Mid-Rise Stevie Slim Straight Jeans
"Unlike the previous reviewer, I did not experience such a size discrepancy. I have bought 4 pairs of Stevies, both ankle and full length, in the past couple of years at Anthro, and I did not feel these to run meaningfully different in sizing. They are, perhaps, a bit tighter through the thighs than my other pairs, but not enough that I would need to size up, and especially since I expect them to stretch over time as the others do. The wash is very very dark -- I would like to see this rise in a more medium blue sometime. I am pleased with the higher rise versus the regular Stevie--it's enough so I don't have it riding down, worrying about pulling it up all the time, but not so much that it looks like "mom" jeans. The denim is somewhat stiffer than my other Stevies, and not soft and cottony on the inside, but I imagine that part of that is due to the extreme dark dye still on the fibers, and that with a few washes they will soften up. If I see this rise again, I will definitely buy."

Pros: soft comfortable but flattering fit
Cons: runs and bit small
"Love these jeans! Very soft and perfect fit. I'm 110 lbs and the 27's fit me perfectly, which means they run a bit small. Will definately wear these often!"

"I have AG Piper slouchy slim jeans in a size 32 so i tried this in a 32 and I couldn't get them on. They're cut very small. Over all denim felt nice, but just wish their sizing was consistent."

Review 5 for AG Mid-Rise Stevie Slim Straight Jeans
"Purchased these in my typical size 27 in AGs. I have a number of AG Angel jeans, all in 27 and the Stevie slim fits me in a 27 as well. With a bit more stretch to them, they are slightly more fitted than my Angel jeans but do not look as if they are too small. The stretch makes them incredibly comfortable. They stretch just enough throughout the day to stay comfortable but never look sloppy."
