"I love the little details that make this skirt unique. It has great folds, and excellent pockets. As a wrap skirt, there is no lining, which can be a drawback. However, the material is sufficiently thick. The cut of the wrap is excellent, and I have had it fly up and still not show off more than 6 inches up from my kneecap. I don't think it's as big an issue as has been stated in other reviews, but you should be a little bit careful. Overall, it's a beautiful, well made skirt. And on sale, it's totally worth the price!"

"I normally take a 28 in denim, 8 in skirts, but I had to size up to a 12P in this skirt so the waist didn't sit so high up on my actual waist. I like my skirts to sit lower, so the 12P is perfect! The length is perfect and since it's a bigger size, there is more fabric and less pulling so it doesn't fly open in the front. I agree with other reviewers that the back is an unexpected surprise with the extra tier of fabric. The skirt has a great shape and I love the red color, kind of a nantucket red. Looks cute with a tucked in shirt/tee and my espadrilles. I knew preppy would come back one day! The pockets are strictly window dressing, the angle of the pockets don't allow for anything to stay in them, but they add a little detail which I like."

"I got this today at the sale in both colors! the 0 fit nice and snuggly at my waist, they hist just above the knee. I am taking a star off because it says "dry clean only" but i should be able to hand wash, but it will require ironing...
I have a really hard time fining pants that fit well and capris that don't "look stupid" and shorts are hopeless. i'm not usually a skirt wearer, but i think this will help fill the gap left by my old cargo capris"

"I'm petite so I already had a hunch this skirt wouldn't work. The material is a heavier weight (silk/linen blend) and therefore quite voluminous on me (think poodle skirt). It wraps nicely and covers "problem" areas well. I think this would be a great, fun skirt for those who are 5'6" or taller. Also, the color is listed as "coral" but there isn't much of an orange hue to it, so more of a cheery, denim red."

nice summer skirt

"i haven't worn it yet but i can tell it will definitely wrinkle fairly easily. i don't have the issue that others described about the slit coming up so high-actually the fold that goes underneath is curved so that it goes across to your other leg. i absolutely love the pockets and the tiering (i know, not a word) on the back. what was not evident to me when i purchased (didn't look closely enough at the picture) is that it is more of a high waisted look-but i like that so i was fine with it."

"I bought the skirt in coral, and absolutely love the style. This is definitely a summer go to preppy style-simple & cute easy to wear skirt. I agree w/ others that the pocket entry slits were not placed all that efficiently to actually function as one might expect compared to the actual size of the pockets. But I can live with that since I plan to occassionally stuff them with my hands and don't plan to be filling them with a bunch of spare change!! -However, if you tend to be a can't live w/out pockets kind of gal- you may not want to store items of value in these pockets because it may cause you to lose them when sitting down due to things falling out on you-but don't let the pockets discourage you from trying this skirt on-you'll be pleasantly surprised just how versatile it is.
Other than the pockets, the skirt is unlined-not that it should be but the description reads "cotton lining" but is really just the inside of the outer linen fabric -not a 2nd layer.-unless they're talking about the tiered styling??
I think its a definite winner & Fits TTS. Perfect for all occassions from garden parties to graduations, mother's day, career or casual w/ a plain white tee or add the black lace knit crop top over a natural colored tank-either way you are sure to love it!!"

Flirty skirt wont to fly open

"I ordered this unlined skirt in a 0 petite since the regular size was too loose to wear at my natural waist (I'm 5'2", 32-24-35, with narrow hips but a curvy bottom) and a bit too long. Oddly the petite size was only an inch shorter, and not much tighter~ a 26.5" waist. I can move the buttons to fix that. The silhouette is very bell shaped on a short person, but still charming. The grey does have a denim look to it, the coral is a lovely, soft pink.
Wear: Yes it does fly open very easily, and much higher than I had expected from the cut. I would recommend having one hand free, or maybe wearing a slip underneath. Sitting down takes a deal of care too. Some stitches or kilt pins may help. Wrinkles do show right away as to be expected with linen. The pockets are great, but would also need stitches to keep things from falling out.
Care: I have had this dry cleaned, and later I washed it. No difference except in time and cost. I hand washed cold with woolite, no fabric softener (important), and rolled in a towel to dry. When it was just damp I ironed not too hot from both sides. It took some time, but the result was the same as dry cleaning. Word of warning to anyone who dislikes noil (raw) silk odor - this skirt will smell ever so slightly.
In all a charming skirt, a true classic with a twist. I would love to see a similar shape in an easier to care for lightweight wool in the Fall."

"This skirt is wonderful! The fabric is great, the cut is great, and the construction is beautiful. I am typically a 14, hourglass figure and a purchased the 12. It fits perfectly.
The only criticism I have for this skirt is that I cannot wear it to work. There is a "cut-out" on the under flap that makes the skirt wrap/lay very nicely without having it be lumpy or too much fabric. This is very innovative, except when I sit down, the skirt opens up to mid thigh. There is no way I can wear this sitting at a desk.
So, I will be keeping this great piece for personal use!"

"I hardly ever wear skirts but saw this one and thought it would be great and it is! I bought size 4 and I would say it's TTS. Super quality and good weight fabric. I think this is going to be so versatile. I plan to wear it with tights, boots and pretty much any top or sweater...can't really think of anything it won't work with. Bought at full price and glad I did. It hits just at the knee so will be okay for work."

"I saw a sales associate at Anthro wearing this skirt and realized how cute and flattering it is. It does tend to fly open in the front in a strong wind. I think it is flattering. I've worn it twice and received compliments from strangers both times. It is the back of the skirt that makes it special. The sales associate wore it with high boots and it looked adorable. I''m over 50 a feel a plain white top is more age appropriate for me. Fun skirt."

"I love the bright cheery red of this skirt, and especially was drawn to the over-lapping layers here and there. Very distinctive. I agree with the other reviews that the thick linen does wrinkle (which is why I don't have much linen in my closet). But the real reason I didn't purchase it emerged when I sat down in the dressing-room: the wrap "unwrapped" a bit too much for my comfort-level. (I sit at the piano all day, legs not not hiding under a desk, so every skirt goes thru the sit-down test). I am 5'8", 135 lbs, and size 10 was perfect for my waist-- but not so perfect when I sat down.
Otherwise, I loved the skirt, and wouldn't be afraid to use an iron."

"The Vast Wrap skirt is fantastic in every way. It's airy enough for summer but not short and its wrap-created slit in front has enough overlap that nothing is going to be bared that you don't want bared. I love the subtlety of its style...so many of Anthro's skirts are overdesigned so they're difficult to pair with a top, making a more understated outfit nearly impossible. That's not the case with this one. It manages to be unique without hitting you over the head with its uniqueness. I can see it going with so many different pieces, and transitioning into fall so well, that I plan to get it in both colors. I imagine this will become the new workhorse in my vast skirt collection!
I usually wear a 10 in skirts and I found that size to be just a touch snug. I'd recommend sizing up, especially if you plan to tuck tops in."

Perfect Spring Skirt

"I've been disciplining myself to wait for items to go on sale-or to simply let them go if I can't get them on sale. But not so with this skirt. It was so perfect, so well made, so versatile and yet just so slightly "different," that I had to get it.
So many of Anthro's skirts are overly voluminous for me. But with this, I won't need to add a belt to "make" a waist. I won't need to worry about my hips and butt looking bigger than they are. And I love the coral color. I'm not sold on the orange skinny pants that are everywhere; I'm not sure how long that trend will last, and I have yet to find a pair of light colored jeans that *really* look great on me. But this skirt will go on season after season, while letting me "participate" in the colorful spring that is to come.
I'm 5'5" and 122 pounds. I took a size 2. My legs are somewhat short and my torso long--I feel like I could wear this skirt even with flats, and still look like a somewhat balanced person. I just love this skirt--and urge you to give it a try."
