"I was coveting these forever and finally had the opportunity to buy them once they went on sale. Adorable, and a good fit for me (not too snug; I wear a 7.5 or 8 and ordered a 38 based on everyone's size-up recommendations); I can wear wool socks & tights with them, and also just wear tights or nothing. They're a little clunky and I thought they looked a bit big on me, but with the wide opening at the ankle, the look works and isn't awkward. They remind me of pilgrim shoes, and I love that about them. Unfortunately, within one wearing one of the tassels is hanging on by a thread. I guess I'm going to try to sew it or something... so that's disappointing, They are made in China and are pretty cheap, so that's too bad, but they're super cute and have a nice 2" heel that doesn't feel too tall but just perfectly sexy. I still recommend them, though they are cheap. But anthropologie is a rip-off, so you get less than you pay for, right? I'm going to keep buying vintage. It's hard to justify spending $100 on something that is already broken... :)"

"I purchased size 37, half size my normal 37.5, it fits great. If you have normal width of feet, they should fit well. I got the gray ones, the color is great. The instep area is a tiny bit wide, other than that, they are great and I got them with a huge bargain. Very satisfied with them."

"My husband gave these to me for Christmas, and while I would never have picked these out for myself, I absolutely fell in love when I put them on. I found the fit to be true to size, and the opening at the top is wide enough that they make my legs look slender, even though regular booties don't always have that effect. Super-comfy, and so cute. They could go with jeans or tights and a skirt."

"These are really stylish shoes, but the fit is quirky. I had to return mine: they just didn't fit. I normally wear a 7 1/2 to an 8. I got a 38: too big. Then I tried a 37 1/2: the foot was snug (I would not have been able to go any smaller without squashing my toes), but the ankle still had lots of room and my heel moved around as I walked. I think the style is adorable, but I think this may be a shoe for narrow-footed women who can go a size or two down. At any rate, be prepared to try it on."

"Definitely size down 1/2 a size. I bought both the brown in a 36 and the grey in 36.5 (they didnt have anymore 36s in the grey). I normally wear a 6.5. The grey were too big. When I put heavier socks on the toe part felt comfy but my heel was still sliding out. The 36 fit but I didn't like the snugness in the toes. I suppose they will stretch, but I wasn't too thrilled with the brown color. It's a nice neutral tone but I thought the grey was much prettier and different. The toes of each of the colors are darker to give them a worn look. I guess that's OK but the worn-looking part of the leather looks a little thinner than the rest (?) Overall a nice, safe choice for a bootie at a good price. As for me, I think I'm returning them both."

"I thought these boots would be really cute with leggings/skinny jeans or dresses. I am 5' 10" and do not like really high heels so I was psyched to find these. I ordered my size 10, and unfortunately, they are too narrow in the toe box. I can only wear them with tights and even then I'm not sure they will be comfortable. The rest of the shoe is great, though. Sadly, I think I am going to have to return them and 10 is the highest size they come in."

"i wore my tassel boots for the first time today and LOVE the way they look! they're casual yet sophisticated, the heel height is perfect, so i imagine i will be able to wear them with pretty much anything. i tried on my usual size 7, which were too big - my feet were sliding around inside the boots and when i walked around my heel would come up and the boots literally felt like they were going to fall off. so i bought them in 6.5, which fit better BUT the narrow part of the boot really hurts my feet. i think these boots would be perfect for those with narrower feet - and definitely order 1/2 size down!! i'm going to get mine stretched width-wise to see if it helps with the fit."

"I love these boots. The heel is just the right height to be comfortable for walking long distances yet fashionable. I got them in grey and they look best with skinny jeans or other casual pants. Since the color becomes darker toward the toe, I expect it to hide dirt and scuffing better than most. They are really well-made."

"I initially purchased a 6.5 based on product description suggestions to size up. Should have followed reviewers suggestions instead. I exchanged for my usual size 6 and they are perfect, slightly bigger. I chose the grey and am very pleased with the product and myself for choosing a practical well made shoe that is comfortable and stylish."

"These boots are perfect. Exactly what I was looking for: good fall boots that can transition into winter, as well. I bought the grey color and they're so easy to wear--the color goes with blacks, khakis, blues, etc.
They are extremely well made and very comfortable (even on the first wear!). The heel is the perfect height and shape, and the boots are very easy to walk in. They do have quality leather soles, so make sure not to wear them in the rain or snow.
As for sizing, I am a US size 8, and as per the reviews, I ordered a 37.5. They fit perfectly, but I'm glad I didn't go any smaller. So be careful with sizing! Try these on in store if you can."

"Hesitant about ordering shoes online, but these did not disappoint! Well made, including leather sole and upper. They are beautiful on and comfortable! As far as size, I ordered true to my normal 37.5. Other reviews said the shoes run large... perhaps so. (My feet may be a tad larger after my first pregnancy). I am so pleased with these and look forward to wearing them this Fall."

"Wish listed this item due to my need for a brown suede bootie with a lower heel for a casual look with jeans and cords. Ordered this in 39.5 instead of a 40 which I normally get based on the reviews which were perfect. In non European sizes I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on style and label. Normally in Tracey Reese, I am a 9. My left foot is a little bigger than right. Shoes very comfy and I can easily wear medium to thick socks. Style is pull-on.
Workmanship is great with both insole and outsole bring leather. My only quibble is, and you can't really see in the picture, unless you look at grey photos, is that there is, I think an anti-scuff treatment on the toes and heel. Kinda strange and initially I thought it was a defect.
Overall happy with my purchase and looking forward to wearing them."

"These are really comfortable booties! They slide right on- no annoying zippers/buckles/ties to deal with. However, as the previous reviewer stated, they run large. I am ALWAYS a size 8 in boots and had to get a 7.5 in these. Even with socks in the winter, you still need to go down half a size!"

"I liked the style and the height of the boots. I ordered both brown and grey. The quality did not disappoint me. The colours are pretty as pictured, well made and comfortable to wear -- leather sole and insole do make a difference. However, sizing is an issue for me. I ordered size 35.5 -- my usual size is between 35 and 35.5. The boot has plenty room for my foot and an index fingure -- the boots run large. Sadly the boots are going back and I am sized out."
