"At first I wasn't sure how to wear this with but I've been wearing it with pants skirts, with everything! My only concern is that the snaps come undone SO easily but since you must wear a tank underneath the situation isn't totally embarrassing. I think this runs small. I'm usually a size 2 and took a 0 on this one."
"Finally, after months of waiting this beautiful blouse went on sale. I think it is perfect in every way. The lace detailing is gorgeous yet study, the color is very versatile, the snap front allows it to be worn as a blouse or a cardigan and it is machine washable! I think it may run slightly small, but I normally wear a 6/8 and the 8 fit me fine both snapped and unsnapped. Overall, a great pruchase that I would highly recommend to others."
"This blouse is very feminine, and I just love the eyelet detailing. Runs on the smaller side. If you're busty, you definitely need to go up a size. This blouse looks cute buttoned up or left open. Perfect for all four seasons. Just an overall nice, feminine, romantic, simple yet classy blouse."

Beautiful lace blouse

Pros: versatile
Cons: delicate
"I don't know why I waited so long to try on this blouse, it is absolutely gorgeous. The lace is intricately cut and the little button snaps are delicate yet sturdy. The color is ivory. I like having the option to wear it as a blouse or a cardigan so I stuck with my usual size 6, which is bordering on a little big. I didn't have an issue with pulling between the snaps when closed, and I am busty (C cup). You could maybe size down if you plan to only wear it open."

Delicate Lacy Blouse
/
PostedMay 27, 2011
Pros: beautiful design
Cons: delicate lace may get caught and break
"I have been mulling over this blouse for a while and finally gave in before it sold out. I had to size up from my regular 8 (I am 36C) to a 10, but since the website only had 8, I will be wearing mine open like a cardigan.
This is a beautiful blouse! The intricate lace makes it unique, and I received many compliments when I wore it the other day. It makes a casual jersey dress formal for work, but I was really afraid that the lace may get caught. Other than that, I'm glad I bought this, even if it was at full price!"
"This is one of the rarer full price purchases for me. I'm 34A and bought this in size 2. It fit very well over chest and shoulder. The lace creates a delicate look but it’s structured and well constructed. It looks great as a cardi over dresses or with a tank top and jeans or skirt. Not sure I'll use it very often as blouse but like the versatility."
"I'm somewhat torn about this top. I passed up the size 0, so it's probably too late now anyway since it's sold out pretty much everywhere. I tried it as a blouse, and wasn't wild about it that way, since the bottom button pulls quite a bit (I'm 5'1, 32A, 105 lbs). I think, as others have said, it would work better as a cardigan. It generally fit well everywhere, especially in the torso and back, but the sleeves looked too loose on me and were a very awkward length - I wish they were shorter. All in all, it's very pretty and I see why others love it, but I don't think it's for me."
"I saw this in the store and couldn't resist. It runs a bit small, but I do plan to wear this as more of a cardigan than a close-fitting shirt (e.g., I usually order a 2-4 in shirts and got a 6 for a more jacket-y look). The lace is beautiful and the top is unique - I think this will look great over tank tops and dresses all summer long. It adds a touch of class and a dressier feel to any outfit."

Elegant top
/
PostedMay 4, 2011
Pros: euro flair, elegance
"I bought this a while ago when it first showed up at my local store. It had a silk scarf tied around the neck, and I *love* the European flair this shirt has when paired with a beautiful scarf like this.
I have seen a couple reviews criticizing the fit - I am fairly hourglassy (130lbs, 34C) but I think it looks really flattering on me, with a skin-colored tank underneath. I can see how it would look boxy if you don't have a lot of natural curves, but I think it lays pretty nicely on someone curvy. I might avoid it if you are looking for something to add curve, though. I feel it makes me look a little more streamlined.
(PS - Any Glee fans? I'm pretty sure Quinn Fabray was wearing this shirt on the Lady Gaga episode recently.)"
"I waited on this one for awhile and finally ordered it a few weeks ago. I deliberated a few days once it arrived before deciding to keep it. Here’s why: The construction, color and quality are all good. Nice fabric. Snap enclosures not my favorite, I wish it had buttons but thats not a deal breaker. The sleeves are cute. Its flattering enough….its just not a WOW kind of blouse. I kept it mostly because of its versatility as a blouse or cardigan. This fit me TTS. I am 5’3, 120 lbs and 36D and got the size 8"

disappointing purchase

"After considering ordering this blouse for quite some time I finally got it and was so disappointed in the fit. I ordered my usual XS and It was very boxy on me and not flattering at all. Since I am not curvy I rely on my clothes to give me some shape and this didn't do it. I also think it would look better with buttons. I wish I could say I loved it but I can't!"
"Love this blouse! Fits true to size and is very flattering. Will be great for the spring and summer. Highly recommend!"

Summer Pefect
/
PostedMarch 22, 2011
"I love this cardigan. I live in Texas, and the summers get very hot. I do not always want my arms exposed though. This cardigan is lightweight, and goes with many outfits. I find it fits TTS. I needed a size 8 as I usually do. This can be dressed up or dressed down. Many people commented that it might get snagged. It might because it is lace, but it is not highly delicate lace. I feel like it can withstand some slight snagging without causing damaged."

Versatile and Delicate

Pros: beautiful pattern versatile
Cons: fabric is easily snagged
"The delicate lace and dainty, yet structured silhouette of this top caught my eye in the store. Since purchasing it, I have worn it out at night with jeans and boots/heels, and tucked into a pencil skirt or worn with slacks for work. As for the fit - I am long and thin up top, and this fit TTS for me with a 0. I can see where the snap buttons would be a problem for bustier girls, so I would suggest sizing up if this is a concern. Overall, great purchase and timeless piece"

"I wanted this top so that i could wear it over dresses as a light cardigan in the summer. My Anthro store didnt have my size and after reading other reviews about the fit i was apprehensive about ordering it on line but i did anyways and i ordered the 14. Im really glad that i did. The arms are a little snug but not uncomfortable and it barely snaps closed around my chest. I really like the length of it. It is very pretty and delicate and im a little worried about how it will hold up. I wish that it had buttons rather than snaps but i knew it had snaps when i purchases it so its just a preferance. I think it is absolutly beautiful though. When ordering i would size up and i would be aware that it is very delicate. I think it would be a good buy if it goes on sale."
Pros: pretty lace, machine washable, can be worn multiple seasons
"Last year, I purchased a top quite similar to this one, namely the 'Eyelet Dahlia Blouse' made by Mise en Scene by Ruffian. My affinity for eyelet and lace compelled me to try this version. The pretty ivory lattice pattern is delicate looking, but substantial. This blouse has a very relaxed feel to it. I really liked the ruching on the sleeves. I tried my usual size 6 (for reference, I am 5'7 with a 34d bust) which fit very well; to my surprise and pleasure, I detected absolutely no pulling with the snap closures. Though the hem was a bit shorter than anticipated, it did at least reach my upper hip. The open lacework means that a camisole must be worn beneath if you plan to wear this as a top. It would look equally wonderful worn as a jacket or cardigan, especially over a dress during the hot days of summer. During cooler months, a turtleneck layered beneath would really set off the intricate lace. This is a versatile, seasonless garment. Definitely recommended."

"This blouse is absolutely beautiful! Fits true to size and is a lovely addition to my spring wardrobe. Well worth the hefty price tag. Don't pull on it though! The threads are fragile and will tear (experience from another similar shirt I bought from Anthro)"
